Coffee Shop Sketching

Today after college me and some classmates organised a trip to a coffee shop in town in order to practice our drawing skills as a few of us hadnt done any proper observational drawing in a while and we felt a little rusty, it was a lot of fun, we each tried a few techniques that put us out of our comfort zone, i myself practiced drawing people as fast as i can as they went past and i attempted drawing someone in the style of Oscar, another classmate. I also attempted to sketch colour a little however i felt that was a little more unsuccessful. I know i want to do this again and i think my peers feel the same way, perhaps this will be something we do on a regular basis, i know i would feel comfortable with the practice.
